Leicester Interchange is developing its digital presence to help fulfil its ambitions of highlighting the good work of social entrepreneurs and innovators in the city, share good practice from around the World, and to produce thought-provoking content that stimulates a culture of curiosity for all. We want to create quality online blogs about good social innovation practice and local community projects, as well as develop a brand new podcast which will promote and provoke action by asking relevant questions and seeking answers. These will be freely accessible digital resources that will interrogate, inform and inspire.
This is an open call for local bloggers, article-writers and aspiring podcast contributors (and producers) with an interest in social action and innovation to get involved and help create these resources. Working on a voluntary basis, you may choose to create a one-off blog or interview recording (for example), or you may decide to commit to being a regular contributor/correspondent. We are particularly interested in hearing from people with a passion for innovation in the fields of education, health, housing or the environment.
Volunteers will get free tickets for any paid events scheduled by Leicester Interchange for the whole of 2019, and a 50% discount on any development workshops hosted by Leicester Interchange for themselves and a friend during the year too.
