Changemaker Social

Thursday 4th October 2018, 5:30-8:00pm

Welcome to our first Changemaker Social! This is a chance for Leicester's finest social entrepreneurs, community organisations and other change-agents passionate about making a positive impact in their communities, to come along for an evening of chat, drinks and some nibbles.

Our socials bring together those who have a mission to support their local communities across Leicester and beyond. So come along, grab a drink and spend time with some like-minded people and share the amazing work that you do, all in an informal and friendly atmosphere.

PLEASE NOTE that tickets are limited due to the size of the venue so it is important to secure your space if you want to attend. ORDER YOUR TICKET HERE.  If you reserve a ticket but your circumstances change and you can't make it, get in touch so we can re-release the spot for someone else.

We look forward to seeing you there!

The venue hosting our first Changemaker Social is a small coffee house and social enterprise that helps young people gain new skills and develop their employability. You can find out more about the project via their social media pages linked below. Give them a follow:

We encourage all attendees to use public transport, walk or cycle to any of our events wherever it is possible and practical. The venue is in central Leicester, close to the train station (2 mins walk), convenient for Leicester City Centre buses (8-10 mins walk from Haymarket Station, 13-15 mins walk from St. Margaret's Station, 7-9 mins walk from Humberstone Gate bus stops), and there are various cycle rails down Granby Street for you to secure your bike. If you will be driving into Leicester to attend, the nearest public car parks are on Dover Street, York Street or East Street; more details can be found in the Leicester City Council website.
